MARC COMA Pilot AMV: "I am very satisfied. That of today, has been a period without complications despite the obvious physical exhaustion after the 4,500 km route. It's been a tough rally and varied terrain, which we could not lose concentration for even a second, but at the same time, it was very funny because the landscape and the conditions changed daily. We are now just two points in the world championship, so we still have a good outcome at the last round if we proclaimed world champion. Thank all the effort my team since the Rally Dos Sertoes 2010 was not in our plans for the competition. I dedicate this victory to a very special person and dear to me that, unfortunately, is no longer with us. Jaume Mimo, this victory is also yours."

jueves, 19 agosto 2010

The ninth stage of Rally Dos Sertoes 2010, which housed a distance of 452 km, of which 245 km were timed, has seen AMV rider Marc Coma, the handlebar of his KTM 690 crossing the finish in second place behind the pilot Kuba Przygonski, who has been awarded the victory. Together with them, and thirdly, the pilot completed the podium of the day Dario Júlio.

AMV rider Marc Coma, needed a total 3 hours 47 minutes and 22 seconds to complete the penultimate stage of Rally Dos Sertoes 2010, he had to overcome the highly technical areas such as trialeras, areas with many rocks, rivers and other, adjacent to areas that differed considerably from the previous formed by very dense sand. In overall, the AMV is still leading with 22 minutes apart before the second-placed local driver, Felipe Zanol.

The ninth stage, connecting the towns of Teresina (PI) and Sobral (PE) had a very technique special of 245 km of stages, which, again, the navigation has been the main feature of it. Furthermore, the area, typically savana, where the palm trees and dense vegetation hampered the interpretation of maps, complicated even more the day to all participants who are free to the harshness of the carioca race. Even so, the pilot has managed its expertise over the KTM to get the final leg of the rally with a generous difference. At the end of the stage, Coma very consistent, but visibly exhausted after so much physical effort, said to be very satisfied with the result.

Tomorrow, the pilot AMV faces the tenth and final stage consists of 390 km of which 107 km will be timed. The tour, which runs from Sobral (CE) to Fortaleza (CE), will close the 18th edition of the Rally Dos Sertoes.

MARC COMA Pilot AMV: "For me, it has been one of the most complicated stages of the rally but I am pleased to have secured the second position. The tour, with a lot of navigation, especially in the beginning of the special, it was very technical, and developed by really bad areas with a bike ready for the Dakar, but even so, I am very pleased with the performance of the KTM 690 in these such adverse conditions. The day was really tough as there were very rocky areas where we should drive carefully but still be competitive at a time. We face the end of the race with a difference of 22 minutes before Felipe Zanol and ... it's true, gives us an apparent calm, but we can never relax. "

miércoles, 18 agosto 2010

AMV rider Marc Coma, with a time of 2 hours 2 minutes and 12 seconds has won a new victory in which has been, the eighth stage of the Rally Dos Sertoes. After that victory, Coma consolidates further his lead in the overall increase, in 15 minutes, the difference before the second overall. Felipe Zanol, 2:03 '14, and Guto Klaumann, '26 2:04 today were second and third respectively.

The eighth stage, consisting of 653 km connecting the towns of Balsas (MA) and Teresina (PI), had a special of 183 km with a lot of navigation and constantly changing field. The KTM once again, true to his squire, stoically endured the challenges and demands of today's special being successful in their brave tamer.

The great physical effort that the pilot had to make over 653 km marked a day that in the absence of two for the conclusion of the race, we have seen, for the third time, as the pilot AMV victory amounted to a new his honors.

Tomorrow, the pilot AMV faces the ninth, and penultimate stage, consisting of a total of 452 km, and a special of 245 km, connecting the towns of Teresina (PI) and Sobral (CE).

MARC COMA Pilot AMV: "Again, it was a tough day and complicated. The 183 km special, have been very demanding in terms of navigation and physical effort, but more importantly we have been very consistent throughout the day and the end result is confirmed. One of the most important challenges of the day have been constantly changing terrain that compel us not to lose concentration at any time, so that you create extra stress. Physically I feel good, despite the obvious that we wear after eight days of rally. Now we have an advantage of 15 minutes overall to second place but we still have two stages to complete. We will continue with the same tone and with the same concentration carried out so far. I am very pleased to score another victory as that of today, has been a very hard stage. "
